Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris is a family-owned farm that embodies the essence of nature, adventure and tradition.
Established in October 2013, our vision was to create a wildlife reserve - a sanctuary where nature thrives.
But with an abundance of game and unmatched biodiversity, Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris soon became known as a hunter’s paradise. Since then, we have welcomed hunters from across the globe, including world-renowned celebrities and public figures, offering both bow and rifle hunting experiences.
– Ondangwa’s Beloved Eland
Among the many special wildlife encounters at Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris, one story stands out - Lulu, our tame eland. Raised by hand after her mother couldn’t produce milk, Lulu found her forever home with us eight years ago. Now 13 years old, she remains a cherished part of our herd, offering guests a rare and heartwarming connection to Africa’s wildlife.
Beyond the thrill of the hunt, Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris is about immersing yourself in Africa’s soul. Our exclusive-use lodge provides a private retreat where guests can unwind under a starlit sky, share stories around a roaring bushveld fire and indulge in a traditional South African braai.
Our family also owns a neighbouring citrus farm, a testament to our deep-rooted passion for farming. International guests are welcome to explore this side of our heritage, gaining insight into the agricultural traditions that shape our way of life.
Located merely 70 kilometres from Hoedspruit, Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris offers easy access to some of South Africa’s most renowned attractions, including:
A world-famous safari destination.

Whether you’re a bow hunter, rifle hunter, bird watcher, or nature lover, Ondangwa Wildlife Safaris promises a truly authentic African experience - one that will stay with you long after you’ve left.
